Welcome to Markwell Racing

Welcome to Markwell Racing. Our training facilities provide an excellent environment for the training of racehorses.

The stable has a combination of boxes, yards and a large fenced area for horses to stretch out in and is located track side at Kembla Grange racecourse.

Other facilities include 2 x 10 bay horse walkers, a treadmill and sand roll, as well as private purpose built equestrian swimming pool.

Gwenda Markwell is the leading trainer at Kembla Grange having won the Champion Local Trainer of the Year for the past sixteen years as well as also being the Kembla Grange Champion Trainer of The Year. In 2017-2018 season she beat Chris Waller, Peter Snowden and James Cummings.

Gwenda was also named the 2011/12 NSW Provincial Trainer Of The Year and trained the 2012-13 Provincial Horse of The Year-Rolling Pin.
